Since the beginning of 2021, many riders have come together at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center for 12 weeks of competition during the Winter Equestrian Festival.

For those who are unfamiliar with the Winter Equestrian Festival, it is undoubtedly the most spectacular and impressive equestrian event which exists. For several weeks, riders and horses from throughout the world and featured on the World rankings, rub shoulders and compete against each other in all the centre's rings.  So Wellington becomes the centre of the world and brings together all the riding and winter sun enthusiasts who come to recharge their batteries in one of the United States’ most southern regions.

The horse is king here. The town boasts a huge equestrian sports hub: the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. It is a mecca for horses and is considered to be one of the biggest centres in the world, both in terms of the size of its facilities and the events that are held there. With facilities stretching over 65 hectares, this centre boasts twelve arenas which play host to all sorts of equestrian competitions, from dressage to show jumping, from hunter to driving, from Western riding to polo matches. More than 15,000 horses and entire stables travel and settle there to take part in all the riding competitions.
